                       STEAM ON THE STAGE PROJECT

                             AND STUDENT'S WORKS

The newest trend in educatıonal theory is someting called "STEAM" . Steam is a response to the changing needs of workforce regarding technology.An entire reorganization of the way that children are instructed it integrates learning with the real life scenarios ,hands-on engagement and emphasis on giving children the skills they needs to compete on a global workforce stage. Many activities on Steam education will be organized. Steam based activities and lesson plans will be created within the project.

PROJECT PLAN

 NOVEMBER   

1.Making  a  presentation  webinar  with  the project partners.

 2.Location on the map ,Introduction and presentation of our schools                                              (classrooms,timetables,uniforms,subjects etc.)

  3.Adding  max 5 students in project, creating students' transnational team and                              students' meeting each other( by using ice-breakers)

 4.Creating  logos, mascot and selecting by voting for the project.

 5.Creating coding activity  “We are all special ,We are all coding together” for                              CODEWEEK

Activity 1:Planets are designed according to the distance from the sun to the solar system model.

TO DO LIST FOR THE PLANET 

It concludes Environmental Problems and Deforestation .Each team will choose one of them and search the reasons of environmental problems or deforestation.a)Environmental Problems:  Each student teams interviews with the owner of the factories,workers etc.b)Deforestation:  Students plant trees whereever they determine and it’s called “Steam on the Stage”

Mascot Duty: Every school makes handmade shopping bags about recycling.

FEBRUARY:   LET’S EXPLORE OUR BODY

Activity 1: Each team chooses only one part of body system. Each team investigates about it and makes a documentary via ‘the greenscreen’. Finally, all the presentations, which include the documentaries of the parts of the body system, are collected on web.2 tool.
